Obituary
Mary M. Moats, daughter of J.W. and Subinah McNally, was born August 31, 1863, in Ohio, and died July 28, 1906, in Beaver Co., Okla. She was married to George Moats October 20, 1881, in Clark co., Iowa. To this union were born five sons, three of whom survive her.
She and her family moved to Kansas in 1883, thence to Oklahoma. She had resided in Garfield county the past twelve years, removing to Beaver county about four months ago, where she died.
Mrs. Moats was converted when eleven years of age, and united with the United Brethren church. In 1885, together with her husband, she became a member of the Christian church.
She led a devoted Christian life, and took an active pert in the service of the Master with all God's people. She gave special effort in Sunday School work, and caring for the sick.
She leaves a husband, three sons, father, four sisters, and three brothers, besides a host of friends to mourn her loss. May all live so they may join her in the New Jerusalem.
Funeral services were held in the M.E. church at Covington by Rev Therlow and the remains interred in the Covington Cemetery.
