October 28, 1978 - September 8, 2020

Celebration of Life Service for Josh Marler, 41 of Marshall, will be Wednesday, September 16, 2020 at 2:00 pm in United Methodist Church, Covington with Pastor Phillip Gregg officiating. Private family burial will be at a later date in Covington Cemetery. Arrangements are by Anderson-Burris Funeral Home and Crematory, Enid.

Josh was born on October 28, 1978 in Anniston, Alabama to Gary and Carol Miller Marler and died on September 8, 2020 in Oklahoma City.

Josh grew up in Covington and graduated from Covington-Douglas High School. He attended NOC-Tonkawa. Josh worked for Triangle, then in the oilfield in Texas. He later worked in the pest control industry. Josh was the lead singer for Back Thorne Elite Band.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe Marler, Phillis H. Thompson, Leland and Hazel Miller.

Josh is survived by his parents, Carol and Joe Kegin and Gary and Barbara Marler; brothers, Jeff Marler, Jason (Jennifer) Marler, Joey (Megan) Kegin, Tony (Amber) Kegin, Joel (Monica) Marler; sisters, Jill (Todd) Blaylock, Jessica (Spencer) Soles; grandparents, George and Sharrol Kegin; nieces and nephews, whom he loved with his whole heart.

Memorials may be made through Anderson-Burris to Covington United Methodist Church UMW Angel Tree.
