Service of Remembrance and Celebration of Life for Darlene “Narne” Brazell, 76, of Enid, Okla., will be 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, 2014, at Garriott Road Church of Christ, with Mr. Ray Rose, minister, officiating. Interment will follow at Covington Cemetery. Cremation was under the direction of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Darlene was born June 22, 1938, in Lucien, Okla., the daughter of Albert and Lois Burns Powell and died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2014, in Enid.

She was united in marriage to Price Brazell in 1954, in Newton, Kan.

She was a manager retired from Southwestern Bell in 1979. She was loved by all of her family and will be remembered as a very sweet person.

Survivors include two sisters, Linda Goddard and husband Joe of Edmond, Okla., and Nancy Thompson of Covington, Okla.; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Price; a son, Greg Brazell; her parents; and a brother, Wayne Powell.

Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association or OMRF, cancer division, with Ladusau-Evans as custodian of the funds.

Visitation for H Price Brazell, 78, of Enid, will be 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Cremation will follow, with a memorial service at a later date. Arrangements under direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Price was born December 10, 1934, in the Covington/Garber Oil Field to Hanan and Nettie Raby Brazell and passed away November 13, 2013, in Greenbrier Nursing Home. Price attended and graduated from the Garber High School in 1954. Price attended and graduated from the Garber High School in 1954. He married Darlene Powell March 19, 1955, in Winfield, KS. Price worked at Coleman’s Plant in Wichita for three years. They moved to Eldorado, KS, where he worked as a store man for Jones & Laughlin, later moving to Moore, OK, working for eight years. He transferred to Tulsa for five years, later moving to Houston in 1972 as a buyer. In 1979, they came back to Enid, where he worked for Fluor Oil Field Supply as a store manager until 1983. They moved back to Tulsa to work for Norris Oil Supply as a field manager, retiring in 2005. They moved back to Enid in 2006. He was a member of Garriott Road Church of Christ. Price loved old cars and the Garber community.

Price is survived by his wife, Darlene of Enid; two grandchildren, Zackary James Brazell of Midland, TX, and Samantha Blair Little of Dallas, TX; five great-grandchildren; sister-in-laws, Linda and husband Joe Goddard of Edmond and Nancy Thompson of Covington, OK; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son Greg Brazell.

Memorials may be made to OMRF — Alzheimer’s Division, with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home serving as custodian of the fund. (Submitted by family)

September 14, 1955 - June 3, 2010

The funeral service for Gregory P Brazell, age 54 will be held Monday, June 7, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the Garriott Road Church of Christ. Ray Rose will officiate. Cremation will follow the service and burial will be at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.

Greg was born September 14, 1955 in Wichita, KS to Price and Darlene (Powell) Brazell and died June 3, 2010 in Midwest City Regional Medical Center, Midwest City, OK. He graduated from Union High School in Tulsa, OK in 1972.

He worked in Tulsa and moved to Oklahoma City in 2006. He worked as a store manager for Red Man Supply, retiring in 2008. Greg had many years in the oil field supply business and at one time, was the youngest store manager in the US at the age of 26.

He married Deborah Crow Mudd on April 2, 2010 in Oklahoma City, OK.

He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed by all.

Survivors include his parents, Price and Darlene Brazell of Enid, OK, wife, Deborah Brazell and two children; son, Zack Brazell of Odessa, TX and daughter, Samantha Brazell of Dallas, TX; three grandchildren, Joshua and Nichole Brazell of Odessa, TX and Davena Brazell of Dallas, TX; step-children: Derek Melton of Midwest City, OK, Michelle Wooley of Holland, TX, Faytina Nelson of McDade, TX; step grandchildren: Athena Melton, Dominque Melton, Olivia Melton and Wyatt Wooley.
