Covington Cemetery


December 09, 1919 - March 24, 2006

A graveside service for Bill R. Adams, 86, of Port Charlotte, Fla., will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Covington Cemetery. Full mili-tary honors will be performed by Vance Honor Guard. Cremation services are being provided by Veterans Funeral Service, Clearwater, Fla.

He was born Dec. 9, 1919, in Covington, to Roy and Nora Adams and died Friday, March 24, 2006.

He served 20 years in the Air Force. He moved to Florida from Columbus, Ohio, in 1979, after retiring from the Ohio Department of Transportation, division of aviation.

Surviving are his wife, Dorothy of the home; two daughters, Linda Young of Anaheim, Calif., and Teri Dobberstein of Omaha, Neb.; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son and one sister.
