Mrs. Henry G. Stettnisch, Anna, 90, of Enid, died Tuesday afternoon in a local hospital following a period of ill health. Her service will be at 2 p.m.Friday in the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Breckinridge with the Rev. Carlton Kjergaard officiating. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stettnisch was born in Greenleaf, Kan., Aug. 16, 1882 and moved with her parents to Lanham, Neb. when she was 4 years old. She married Henry Stettnisch June 2, 1902, and established a home on a farm near Enid. They have lived here since their retirement in 1944.
Mrs. Stettnisch had been a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church since 1910. She was also a charter member of the LTL Club of Breckinridge.
In addition to her husband, Henry, she is survived by two sons, Lawrence of Anderson, MO and Vernon of Houston, TX; three daughters, Mrs. Milbert (Viola) Schultz of Billings; Mrs. Charles (Esther) Bailey, Enid; Mrs. Harold (Lorene), Rippe, of Hanover, KS; a sister, Mrs. Dorothy Underhill of Burbank CA. 15 grandchildren, 21 gr grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, and three brothers.

Henry G. Stettnisch, 95, of Enid, died Saturday morning in a local hospital following a period of ill health. His service will be Tuesday, at 2 p.m. in the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Breckinridge with the Rev. Carlton Kjergaard officiating. Burial will be in the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery under the direction of Henninger-Allen Funeral Home.
Stettnisch was born Aug. 21, 1880 in Breman, Kan. He grew up in Kansas and attended school there. He came to Oklahoma with his cousin in a covered wagon and settled on a farm south of Enid, and lived his entire life in the Enid and Breckinridge areas.
On June 2, 1902 he married Anna Wieden in Enid. She died in 1973. He was engaged in farming all his life except for some years when he was a rural mail carrier. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church at Breckinridge.
Survivors include one son, Vernon of Houston, TX; three daughters, Mrs. Milbert (Viola) Schultz of Billings; Mrs. Charles (Esther) Bailey, Enid; Mrs. Harold (Lorene), Rippe, of Hanover, KS; three sisters, Mrs. Sophia Leavengood; Mrs. Alvina Rippe; and Mrs. Emma Meinecke, two brothers, Paul and Martin; 15 grandchildren and 13 gr grandchildren.
Besides his wife, Anna, he was preceded in death by two daughters, and one son; three brothers, and five sisters.
