Obituary
Jacob Sattelmeier was born July 9, 1868, in Koenigsdorf, Poland, and was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Elof, Poland. He came to this country in 1891, and two years later, on December 17, 1893, he married Katharine Mueller, and settled on the farm northwest of Breckinridge, where he lived until the time of his death. He was one of the charter members of Immanuel Lutheran church at Breckinridge, and remained a faithful member until the Lord called him hence on Tuesday, February 24, 1936. He reached the age of 72 years, 7 months and 15 days. His departure is mourned by his aged widow, Mrs. Katharine Sattelmeier; three sons, Jacob, Arthur and Edmund; two daughters, Mrs. Katharaine Keilbarth and Mrs. Hedwig Reinhardt; twelve grandchildren, two brothers and one sister. Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church in Breckinridge on February 27, and burial was in the Lutheran cemetery of the congregation at Breckinridge.
