Erwin Theodore Roggow burial at Breckinridge Cemetery
The funeral service for Erwin T. Roggow, age 90 will be 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Breckinridge. Rev Arthur McCormick will officiate. Burial will be in the Breckinridge Lutheran Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home.
Erwin was born November 19, 1920, on the family farm north of Breckinridge, Okla., to Reinhard and Ella (Schossow) Roggow and died December 23, 2010 in Enid, Okla. He attended Immanauel Lutheran Parocial School in Breckinridge and Union Public School District III. He was a veteran of WWII, serving in the US Army in England, France and Belgium.
He married Mabel Nichols on May 26, 1946. They made their home on a farm near Breckinridge. They had been married more than 35 years at her death on Nov. 26, 1981. He farmed and also worked numerous construction jobs including Union Equity Elevator, Waller School and Holiday Motel. He was a rural mail carrier and worked for Garfield County District 2, retiring in 1983.
He was a lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Breckinridge, Oklahoma Polka Club, Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion. He volunteered for RSVP. He married Lorene Endsley Sebranek on September 10, 1983. They were married 23 years at the time of her death, Dec. 9, 2006.

Surviving are his children: Linda Bolte of Breckinridge, Okla., Carol Ann Boubina and husband, Chuck of Willard, Mo. and Mark Roggow and wife Debby of Breckinridge; his stepchildren, Judy and Richard Boyce; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; sisters, Hilda Roggow, Minnie Wilgus, Bernice McCanless; brothers, Wallace Roggow, Victor Roggow and Gerald Roggow.Surviving are his children: Linda Bolte of Breckinridge, Okla., Carol Ann Boubina and husband, Chuck of Willard, Mo. and Mark Roggow and wife Debby of Breckinridge; his stepchildren, Judy and Richard Boyce; five grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; sisters, Hilda Roggow, Minnie Wilgus, Bernice McCanless; brothers, Wallace Roggow, Victor Roggow and Gerald Roggow.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wives, Mabel and Lorene, sisters, Bertha Loesch, Della Palmer and brothers, Herman and Bernard Roggow.
