Breckinridge Cemetery


Funeral for Mrs. Christine Heitfeld, 88, 907 E. Maine, will be at 10 AM Saturday in the Henninger – Allen Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Kenneth E Wade and the Rev. A. Meitler will officiate. Burial will follow in the Immanuelle Lutheran Cemetery at Breckinridge.

Mrs. Heitfeld died Tuesday evening in a local hospital following a short illness. She was born June 15, 1890, in Herkimer, Kansas, where she attended schools. The former Christina Hormann, she married Herman F. Heitfeld January 2, 1911, at Herkimer. They made their home in Breckinridge where they farmed. He died in 1944.

In 1949, Mrs. Heitfeld moved to Enid. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

Survivors include two sons, Arthur and Norbit, both of Breckinridge; nine grandchildren; and four great – grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church with the funeral home serving as custodian of the fund.
