Geraldine "Gerri" (Mohlenbrink) Morris
Friday, December 7th, 1934 - Tuesday, March 28th, 2023
A funeral service for Geraldine "Gerri" Morris age 88 of Enid will be 2:00 pm Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Breckinridge with Rev Travis Orr officiating. Burial will follow in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Breckinridge under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Gerri was born December 7,1934 in Billings, OK to Edward and Pauline (Diel) Mohlenbrink and passed away March 28, 2023 in the Golden Oaks Retirement Village. She lived in the Billings Community until age 8 then they moved to Breckinridge to attend school until the 8th grade. She graduated from Garber High School in 1952. She married Melvin Dwayne Morris on May 10, 1953 in the Immanuel Lutheran Church and he passed away September 18, 2005. Gerri worked as a housekeeper for several people. She catered for several events for 10 years for 1st United Methodist Church. She worked for Warren Flowers for 4 years. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Breckinridge, where she was confirmed and married. She was a member of LWML for years where she held several offices. She married Walt Winters on March 14, 2015.
Gerri is survived by her children; Tracy and Kay Morris, Debbie and Bill Poteat, Eddie Morris, Mary and Byron Hobson, and Rick and Denise Morris, 12 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren, 3 great- great grandchildren, and her husband Walt Winters.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be made to Oklahoma LWML or Immanuel Lutheran Church with Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory serving as custodians of the funds.
