Jerry Dwight Weidner

Jerry Dwight Weidner, son of Christian E. and Margaret Belle (Smith) Weidner was born April 2, 1942 in Shattuck, OK. He passed from this life November 27, 2016 at the age of 74. Jerry grew up in Shattuck. He graduated from Shattuck High School and then furthered his education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford, OK.

Jerry served the United States Army and then returned to Shattuck. He worked at the Amarillo Police Department, Santa Fe Railroad, and was a retired farmer. Jerry was baptized as an infant at the St. Paul Congregational Church in Shattuck and was a member. He was a member of the NRA. He loved to hunt and do anything that pertained to the outdoors. Jerry also liked to do leather and wood work in his spare time.

Jerry was preceded in death by his father Christian Weidner and infant baby brother. He is survived by his mother Margaret Weidner of Shattuck, OK; sister Janice Wellman of Oklahoma City, OK; a niece and a nephew of Oklahoma City, OK; and a multitude of family and friends.

In lieu of flowers make memorials to the St Paul Congregational Church in Shattuck, OK, or to your favorite charity.
