Funeral services for Mrs Nellie Grace Alton, 67, were held Saturday at the Methodist Church of Seiling with the Rev Adam Ralston officiating. Burial was in the Riley Cemetery.

She was born June 23, 1886 in Kechi Kansas and passed away on June 12, 1974. She lived in Woodward County as a youngster.

Nellie married Arthur Azural Alton in 1905 and they farmed in the Seiling community until 1964. She was a member of the United Brethren Church in the Mutual community.

In addition to her husband Arthur of their home in Norman, she is survived by their daughters : Mrs Gladys Mitchell and Mrs Hazel Horner, both of Norman , Mrs Bessie Reed, Black Canyon City, Ariz., and Mrs Opal Roy, Phoenix, Ariz; three brothers, Jessie Marrison, Bonham, Tex., John Marrison, of Leedy, and David Marrison, Bristow; three sisters, Mrs Mary Ellen Edwards, Alva, Mrs Edith Anderson, Duncan, and Mrs Zella Byrd, Van Buren, Ark.; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
