Frances Gwen Anson

March 28, 1943 ~ Aug. 14, 2006

The funeral for Frances Gwen Anson, 62, of Seiling, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Seiling Gospel Lighthouse Church. The Rev. Clyde Irving will officiate. Burial will be in Little Robe Cemetery. Arrangements are by Redinger Funeral Home, Seiling.

She was born March 28, 1943, in Dewey County to John and Neva Foust Anson and died Monday, Aug. 14, 2006, at Seiling Municipal Hospital.

She attended Oakwood and Thomas schools, graduating from Oakwood High School in 1961. She attended Southwestern Nursing School in Weatherford and St. Anthony Hospital Nursing program in Oklahoma City. She worked in nursing homes as a nurse aide and hospice nurse. She also worked as an emergency medical technician on area cattle drives.

Surviving are one daughter, Bonita Vickman of Kingfisher; one son, James Schlarb of Chester; and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother.
