Location: This cemetery is found on the Dewey Beck allotment (Section 19, Township 21, Range 25) and was 2 acres in size. At this time the cemetery is considered destroyed.
Several people buried here. The only one identified at this time is Eli Tehee.
A few months ago (in 2012) when I visited the site of the cemetery, the stone was no longer there. Someone has walked off with it. It is also reported that Cherokee soldiers are buried here. But I have found no information to support that.
If you have family buried at the Tehee Grave Site and would like to add your information to this website, contact the area coordinator for more information. You can also check out our How to Submit page.
