Marjorie Lee McBride Harris, of Harrah, died on Wednesday, March 1, 2017. She was 89 years of age. She was born on January 18, 1928, in Brewster, Kansas to Carl and Margaret McBride. On October 26, 1946, she married John Guy Harris and together they had three children, Linda Patrick, Jerry Harris and Sandra Brown. John and Marjorie eventually settled in Drumright, Oklahoma and raised their family. Marjorie worked for many years at the Drumright Public Library and was active in her church. She also attended beauty college. In 2015, Marjorie relocated to Harrah to be nearer to her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Roland, Bill, Darrell and Keith, her beloved husband, John, daughter, Linda and grandsons, Larry Don and Steven Patrick.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Brown & husband, Butch of Luther, son, Jerry Harris and wife, Brenda of Ada, her brother, Merrill McBride of Shawnee, five grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.

Services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, March 6, 2017, at the Harrah Church of the Nazarene, 20775 North Street, Harrah, OK. Interment will be at 2:30 PM at Oak Hill Cemetery, Drumright, OK. Services are under the direction of Smith~Parks Funeral Service in Harrah, OK.
