Donna Mae (Edwards) Walker

August 11, 1943 ~ January 8, 2013

Donna Mae Walker was born to John Edmond and Ruby May {Lane} Edwards on August 11, 1943, in Drumright, Oklahoma. She died Tuesday, January 8, 2013, in Bristow at the age of 69 years.

A 1961 Stroud High School graduate, she worked as a nurse's aide. She was a member of the Baptist Church in Claremore, Oklahoma.

Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Johnny.

Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Eddy and Brenda Edwards of Stroud; her sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Mizell of Jenks, Oklahoma; Helen and Gene Krause of Kellyville, Oklahoma; and Phyllis and Bill Blaney of Stroud; as well as other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held on Saturday, January 12, 2013, at First United Methodist Church in Stroud with the Rev. Jeromye Jackson officiating. Burial followed at Bristow Cemetery, Bristow, Oklahoma, under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Service in Stroud.
