Karl William Huffmaster

Karl was born on St. Andrew's Day, the Patron Saint of Scotland - a serendipitous compliment to the Scottish heritage of his Mum and Uncle David.

Karl devoted a significant amount of his youth to community service as an active member of Cub Scout Pack 177 and the Boy Scouts of America Troop 100, where he achieved the rank of First Class Scout.

He was a graduate of Lawton High School and was ecstatic when he was allowed to play football for Lawton High.

He later attended Great Plains Technology Center and achieved a certificate in Graphic Design and Printing.

Karl mainly worked in the areas of food management and landscaping. His desire was always to start a graphic design business, but due to his untimely death, he was not able to achieve this goal.

Karl's dad and uncles served their country with great pride and honor in the United States Marine Corps and Navy. Karl attended the Marine Military Academy Preparatory School for boys, in Harlingen, Texas in the summer of 1996.

He was a gentle and honorable person, had a heart as big as the world, and could not say NO to any person who needed his help or his brawn. He was respected by his relatives and friends. He was the most devoted father any person could want to have; he doted on his two beautiful daughters every living minute, and could not say no to their every request. Karl's aim in life was to make sure his daughters did not want for anything. Their hearts are broken and only God and time will be able to mend their hearts, but he will never be forgotten by them.

He was predeceased in death by his grandparents, Marvin Leo and Veda Mae Huffmaster; aunt and uncle, Ruth Ann and Harold Jones; cousins, Marcus Huffmaster and Danny Long; and grandfather-in-law, Chester Hardage. As well as his maternal grandparents, Robert Stanley Malloch and Iris Coulston Malloch both of Wellington, New Zealand.

Karl is survived by his loving wife Kelly and his beloved daughters, Kathleen Jane and Kelsey Lynn; he is the beloved son of Pauline and Marty Huffmaster and beloved brother of Nick Huffmaster; aunts and uncles: David Malloch of New Zealand, David and Becky Huffmaster, Daniel and Cheryl Huffmaster, Anthony Huffmaster, Ashley Huffmaster, Julian Marcus Huffmaster, Frances and Dan Long, Michael and Elisa Huffmaster, Tim Huffmaster and Michael Davis and Ramona and Bo Chambers, of Arkansas, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, and Oklahoma; cousins: Jennifer and Jeremy Hobbs, Aaron, Amber and Brian Jones,Veda and Michael Jones, Sarah and Catie Long, Jason and Janice Huffmaster, Lance Huffmaster, Zack Huffmaster, Luke Huffmaster, Cody Huffmaster, Clayton Huffmaster, Justin Huffmaster, Stephen Huffmaster, Elizabeth Huffmaster, Samantha,Megan, Sidney and Ethan Chambers, Jennell and Chris James, of America and the following cousins in New Zealand and Australia - Hailey, Robert, Kristine, LeAnn, Aaron and Hayden. Karl had many great aunts and uncles and numerous other cousins in American, New Zealand and Australia.

Karl is also survived by his extended family: mother-in-law, Tammy Hardage; father-in-law, Wayne Hardage; Grandmother-in-law, Cletta Hardage; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joshua and Rene; and sisters-in-law, Audria Hardage and Abby Hardage.

We love you "Karly Wooters" and our hearts now have a hole that can never be filled. We will love you forever and a day.
