Jeffrey Leroy Hooper

Funeral for Jeffrey Leroy Hooper, 75, of Lawton, will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Union Baptist Church, with Dr. C.W. Whitlow, pastor, officiating.

Mr. Hooper died Sunday, Oct. 22, 2006, in Lawton.

Burial with military honors will be in Sunset Gardens, under the direction of Jefferson Funeral Home.

He was born Nov. 20, 1930, in Frederick.

He joined the armed forces and served in the Air Force and Army.

He completed 35 years of civil service as a medical technician.

He attended Langston and Cameron Universities. He played football, basketball and baseball in school. He received a baseball scholarship to Langston University. He joined Union Baptist Church, where he served as an outreach worker under the direction of Mrs. Parks, worked with the Royal Ambassadors and sang in the Brotherhood Chorus.

Survivors include two daughters, Jeffrie Alice Hooper, Fort Worth, Texas, and Cynthia Colbert, Midwest City; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Dorothy and Frank McHenry, Minnie Pigrum and Lulu Gathings, all of Lawton; three grandchildren; two aunts, Fannie Gordon and Lucy Lee Burton; and countless relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy; mother, Minnie; three sisters, Trudy, Armatha and Rosetta; and two brothers, Junior Ray and William.

Summor [Facinelli] Hooper

Funeral service for Summor [Facinelli] Hooper, 37 of Lawton will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home Chapel.

Summor passed away on Saturday, December 26, 2015 in Lawton.

Viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 6, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Summor was born on August 7, 1978 in Salina, Kansas to Richard and Cynthia [Derrico] Facinelli.

She grew up in Salina where she attended school. She came to Lawton in 2004. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters and a daughter in law, Aariona and Naesha Fant, and Kaylea Babers, all of Lawton; her son, Jaylin Babers, of Lawton, Oklahoma; two brothers and a sister in law, Derek Oehlert and Jill Tabor, of Lawton and Jared Oehlert, of Kansas; her father, Richard Facinelli and his wife, Ruth of Colorado and Jeff Oehlert, of Kansas; her grandfather, Art Bird, of Kansas; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and a host of loving friends.
