Alene [Jackson] Hood

Alene Hood died Monday, July 6, 2015 in Faxon, Oklahoma. She was born November 3, 1930 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Jess and Dortha Jackson.

She married Leonard A. Hood on July 24, 1950 in Roswell, New Mexico.

She attended Cache High School.

Mrs. Hood retired from Southwestern Bell after 32 years of service with perfect attendance.

Survivors include: two sons Gary Wayne Hood of Cache and Larry Wilson Hood of Broken Arrow; two daughters Nina Lucille Colvin of Faxon and Janet Lynne Roach of Cache; two sisters Joy Chandler of Lawton and Jessie Collins of Colorado; grandchildren Kenneth Colvin III, Charlton Roach, Toby Hood, Cory Hood, Kristie Lambert, Nichole Ramirez, Zachary Hood, Michael Hood and Samuel Hood; 15 great grandchildren; Kenneth Colvin IV, Brett Colvin, Jacob Colvin, Xanin Colvin, Baileigh Lambert, Ashlyn Lambert, Blake Ramirez, Brooklyn Ramirez, Hesston Roach, Colt Roach, Ethan Hood, Makayle Hood, Chole Hood, Keegan Hood and Harrison Hood.

Graveside Services will be held Saturday, July 11, 2015 at 11am at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Lawton with Royce Littrell officiating.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Charlton Roach, Kenneth Colvin III, Toby Hood, Cory Hood, Zachary Hood, Michael Hood, Samuel Hood and Nathen Lambert.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 10, 2015 at Whinery - Huddleston Funeral Home from 5pm to 8pm.
