Elizabeth Ann [McClure] Herriage

Elizabeth "Ann" Herriage was born March 5, 1931 in Bonham, Texas to Ruby [Dunn] and "Elmer Stonewall McClure.

Following a brief illness, she made her way to heaven on Thursday, September 26, 2013 in Lawton, OK at a local hospital surrounded by her family. She was 82 years of age.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 pm, Monday, September 30, 2013 in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum, Sunset Memorial Gardens, officiated by Pastor Curtis Erwin.

She was the youngest daughter and was spoiled beyond measure by her nine other siblings.

She was married to Freddie Herriage on November 28, 1951 in Bonham, Texas. He died in January 2002.

Ann was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker until her passing. She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie; two children, Robert and Vickie; both of her parents, Elmer and Ruby McClure; three brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by her two sons, Cliff Herriage and his wife Donna and Keith Herriage and his wife Cindy, all of Lawton, OK; eight grandchildren, Kim Hill and her husband Matt, of Fletcher, OK, Michael Herriage and his wife Carol, of Marlow, OK, Jeff Barrett and his wife Debi, of Union, MO, David Barrett and his wife Mary, of St Clair, MO, Chris Ann Doney and her husband Mark, of Elgin, OK, Brian Herriage, of Lawton, OK, Justin Herriage and his wife Stacy, of Fletcher, OK, and Jennifer Early and her husband Billy, of Geronimo, OK; twenty great-grandchildren; two brothers, J. Frank McClure, of Summerville, SC and Curtis Aubrey McClure and his wife Marie, of Fort Worth, TX; two sister-in-laws, Norma McClure-Meredith, of Sherman, TX, Barbara Herriage of Moore, OK; two special friends, Virgina Morgan and Judy Martin; she also had special neighbors, David and Roe Zuckerman; K-9 companion, Mia of the home.

She has many loving family members, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations are made in Ann's name to the Humane Society of Lawton, 608 SW D Ave, Lawton, OK 73501. Memorials:
