Virginia Rose [Hughes] Hall

Funeral service for Virginia Rose [Hughes] Hall, 83 of Lawton will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2015 at Faith Bible Church with Rev. Leonard Reimer, pastor officiating.

Mrs. Hall passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 in Lawton.

Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.

There will be a special viewing and visitation for family and friends on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Virginia was born on May 21, 1932 in Tipp City, Ohio to Richard Thomas and Nancy Josephine [Tate] Hughes.

She grew up in Ohio and attended school in Piqua, Ohio. She married William Hall on September 30, 1951 in Piqua, Ohio and the military was a large part of her life as a military wife. Virginia worked for Lawton Public Schools as Cafeteria Manager, retiring in 1995 after 18 years of dedicated service. She attended First Assembly of God for many years and later attended Faith Bible Church where she was very active. She volunteered for the County Election Board.

She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Jim and Beverly Hall, of Bixby, Oklahoma; her daughter and son in law, Melody and Chuck Moyer, of Lawton; her brother, James Donald Hughes, of Piqua, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Rene Trahan, Jason Hall, Keri McKinney, Matthew Hall, Allison Hammonds, Sarah Nix, and Anna Moyer; and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her former husband; and brothers and sisters.
