John Hall Jr

Mr. Hall passed away Friday March 27, 2015 in Lawton.

John Hall Jr. was born December 8th, 1921 in Philadelphia, PA to John Sr. and Jennie [King] Hall.

John served his country proudly for more than twenty years in the field artillery. He served in WWII, Korea, and Vietnam.

Mr. Hall was an avid model train railroader.

He married Dorothy Tomlin on June 17th, 1950 in Ft. Pierce, FL. Together they spent more than twenty years volunteering for the Easter Pageant.

Survivors include his wife of the home, Dorothy Hall; four daughters, Judy White and husband Ben of Lawton, Jennie Dennis of Altus, Mary Brown and Kieve Heflin of Burford, GA, and JoLynn Adams and husband Fred of Lawton; a sister, Mabel Beeby; seven grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Robert John Hall.

11:00 am on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at Whinery-Huddleston Chapel 6210 NW Cache Road Lawton Oklahoma 73505

Services will be at 11:00 AM at Whinery-Huddleston.

Dorothy Irene [Tomlin]

Dorothy Irene Hall, Lawton, was born February 13, 1927 in Cornelia, Georgia to Edgar and Ola Tomlin. She passed away peacefully December 10, 2016 at the age of 89.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 15, 2016 at 10:00am in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Gardens under direction of Whinery-Huddleston Funeral Service.

Dorothy was an army wife and stay-at-home mother. She raised five children while her husband was in the Army proudly serving our country. She married John Hall, Jr on June 13, 1950 in Fort Pierce, Florida. Together they spent more than 20 years volunteering for the Easter Pageant.

Dorothy was an avid quilter and loved making quilts for her family and friends. She was a proud member of the American Cancer Society and often visited with people who had cancer. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Hall, Jr and a son, Robert John Hall.

Survivors include four daughters: Judy White and husband Ben of Lawton; Jennie Dennis of Altus; Mary Brown and Kieve Heflin of Burford, GA; and JoLynn Adams and husband Fred of Lawton; grandchildren: Christina and James Biscaino, Tona and Ronnie Hullum; John Benjamin White; Todd White and Leigh Crain; Dalia Dennis; Shannon Adams; Samantha and Kevin Osborn; 7 great-grandchildren; and numerous close friends.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Dorothy's name to Aspire Hospice, 7205 W. Gore Blvd, Lawton, OK 73505.
