Albert Lewis Hall

Mr. Hall was born July 28, 1928, in Sterling, OK. He was married to Ann Crawley in Las Vegas, Nevada. He grew up in Lawton and graduated from Lawton High School in 1946, and attended Cameron University for one year in Business Management.

His aviation experience began in 1944, at the age of 16 when he started taking flight instructions. He served in the Air Force from 1949, to December 1952, during which time he instructed courses in leadership and aircraft maintenance at the Aircraft and Engine School at Wichita Falls, Tx. He later instructed Army officers in various courses of aircraft practical maintenance at San Marcos AFB, Tx.

After receiving his honorable discharge, he pursued the aviation field and was employed in April 1953, by Spartan Army Aviation Maintenance, Fort Sill. From 1953 until he joined Hawthorne Aviation in 1964, Mr. Hall gained excellent experience while employed in the aviation and missile field as a mechanic, quality control technician, and foreman.

In 1964, Mr. Hall joined Hawthorne Aviation as director of Material at Fort Sill. From 1966-70, he served as Manager of the Fort Sill Aircraft Maintenance operation. In 1970, he was transferred to other Hawthorne Operations. In 1973, he returned to Fort Sill as Hawthorne Aviation's General Manager for the Aircraft Maintenannce contract.

Mr. Hall had 40 years of aircraft maintenance and management experience. He retired in 1985 as general manager from Hawthorne Aviation. He had attended Cameron Baptist Church and had served on the Board of Directors for Crisis. He was an avid fisherman.
