Funeral for Brice Clark, 76, Lawton, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom Alley and Dr. Randy Robertson, pastor, Anadarko First Baptist Church, officiating.
Mr. Clark died Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at a local hospital.
Burial with military honors will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens under direction of Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home.
He was born July 2, 1925, in Rattan to Frank and Winnie Prettyman Clark. He was raised on a farm southwest of Lawton. He joined the Navy on May 29, 1944, and served during World War II. During his service, he received the American Campaign Ribbon, the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Ribbon with one Bronze Star and the World War II Victory Ribbon. He was honorably discharged Aug. 12m 1946, at Fort Worth, Texas. He worked as a Class A welder for American Dynamics in Fort Worth for 17 years. He also was a taxi driver in Lawton for 10 years. He married Irene Clark on May 29, 1952, in Anadarko. She died in October 1994. He married Wilma Clark on Sept. 5, 2000, in Lawton.
Survivors include two stepdaughters: Doris Barrett and her husband, Dave Jr.; and Mrs. Billye Georgene Tucker, all of Lawton; a Brother, Elton Clark and his wife, Mabie, Lawton; a sister, Gertie Smith, Cordell; a sister-in-law, Rita Clark, Lawton; three stepgrandsons: Harold Doan Jr., Keith Doan and Brent Doan, all of Lawton; two stepgranddaughters: Jana Brim, Lawton; and Stacey Dorrell, Bartlesville; three stepgreat-grandchildren: Kymber Dorrell, Kendra Dorrell and Braedon Brim; a niece and several nephews, including Larry Clark Jr. and his wife, Kim, of Lawton.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Roye Clark.
