Brigitte Marie Chenault

Brigitte Marie Chenault was born on April 27, 1963 in Germany to Fredrick and Earlene [Wilson] Chenault. She died on October 1, 2014 in Lawton, OK at the age of 51.

Brigitte was raised in a military family, but completed all of her education in Lawton. She graduated from Lawton High in 1981 and worked in numerous positions through the years. Her final job was with Goodyear from 2002 to 2013 when she was forced to retire due to health issues.

Brigitte enjoyed spending time with her family, and could always be counted on by her friends when they were in need.

She was a member of St Elmo Baptist Church and served on the Usher Board. Brigitte was preceded in death by her mother, Earlene.

Survivors include three sons, Addam Chenault, Garry Scott and Torry Chenault, all of Lawton; her father, Fredrick Chenault Sr., of Lawton; grandchildren, Dhakari Chenault, Chance Chenault of Lawton, and Serenity Chenault, Broken Arrow; four sisters, Jenecia Boyd of Dallas, Yvette Chenault of Lawton, Coretta Chenault of Atlanta, GA, Cynthia Jackson and husband Jervis of Lawton, brothers, Clarence Chenault , of Granite, OK, Frederick Chenault Jr. and wife Martha in TX; aunts, Emma Smith of Colorado and Ollie B. Overstreet of Kentucky, Thelma Gammage of CA, three uncles; Leonard and wife Vivian of CO, James B. Chenault, John Chenault of Kentucky. Extended family members Sandifer Hayes of Lawton, and Tanika Carroll of Ft Worth, TX, Beverly Clark of CT, Brandon Witherspoon of Lawton, Stanley Akins of Germany, Brandon Davis of Lawton, as well as numerous additional nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
