Nina Mae [Wolf] Thomas


Nina Mae Thomas of Lawton, Oklahoma was born September 18, 1916 in Lawton, OK to Ralph Marcus and Iva Maude [Moody] Wolf. She passed away March 31st in Lawton at the age of 97.

She married Ted B. Thomas on March 15, 1940 in Apache, OK. He preceded her in death on December 8, 1994.

She was a member of the Paradise Valley Baptist Church. When she was younger, she belonged to the Meers Home Demonstration Club. She enjoyed playing dominoes and spending time with her family.

She is survived by:1 son-Ralph Thomas Norfolk, VA, 1 daughter and her husband-Viola and Jim McCarty Apache, OK, 4 grandchildren-Charee Harrison, Jaime McCarty, Colleen Goodrich, Josh Thomas, 6 great-grandchildren- Ashley Ramirez, Ethan Harrison, Kyndal Harrison, Ainsley McCarty, Cason McCarty, Holden Goodrich, Her sister-in-law-Ann Thomas Denton, TX.

She was preceded in death by: Her parents; Her husband; 3 brothers- Kenneth Wolf, Harold Wolf, Bert Wolf; 4 sisters-Irma Hall, Juanita Reynolds, Olive Farley, Opal Jackson.

A funeral service will be held Friday, April 4th at 2:00 P.M. at the Paradise Valley Baptist Church with Rev. Chris Stinnett of the First United Methodist Church of Apache officiating.

Burial will follow in the Paradise Valley Cemetery under the direction of Crews Funeral Home.
