Felix Molina

Birth date: January 14, 1956
Death date: May 9, 2014

Felix Molina, 58, Lawton, was born January 14, 1956 in San Juan, Puerto Rico to Felix and Maria Molina. He died peacefully in his home with his family at his side on May 9, 2014.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2014 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 16, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Whinery-Huddleston Chapel. Burial with full military honors will follow at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin.

Felix attended high school at Pedro Falu, Rio Grande, Puerto Rico.

After high school he enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served for over 20 years. He attended the University of Maryland in Ansbach, Germany for seven semesters in computer science. He was experienced in 47th Combat Support Battalion; logistics management supervisor, 2nd Battalion 63rd Armor, Fort Riley, Kansas; primary technology course, basic technology course and Advanced Leadership Occupation training. He received 4 diplomas and one transcript of credit. He worked at Fort Sill with the Civil Service doing Information Technology Service for five years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Maria and Felix Molina.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly, of the home; daughter, Kenya Halligan and husband Edward of Lawton; granddaughters, Jannai Connor, Tiana Valdes and Monika Bradwell, all of Lawton; brothers, Miguel Molina of New York, NY, Jamie Molina of Brooklyn, NY and Peter Molina of New York City; sisters-in-law: Wilma Robinson of Madison, FL, Velma Davis of Junction City, KS, Brenda Flagence of Port Arthur, TX and Vear Coachmen of Manhattan, KS; brothers-in-law: George Jr. of Sacramento, CA, Richard Vinson of Wichita, KS and Dwight Davis of Junction City, KS; nephew, Dontae Robinson of Junction City, KS. He also has a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
