David Lane "Bubba" Mendoza

Funeral service for David "Bubba" Lane Mendoza, 20, of Chickasha, Oklahoma will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2009 in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.

David Lane "Bubba" Mendoza was born July 24, 1988 in Riverside, California the son of David and Pam [Vananda] Mendoza and died April 12, 2009 in Chickasha.

David joined the U.S. Army in 2006 and served his country proudly. When returning from Afghanistan, David was planning to attend college.

He loved spending time with his family and friends. He was gentle and caring and always looked out for those he loved.

Survivors include: Father: David Mendoza, Mother: Pam Mendoza, 1 sister: Kayla Mendoza, 1 brother: Jacob Cates, Grandparents: Mary and Wayne Vananda.

Interment will be at the Ft. Sill Cemetery, Elgin, under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
