Maxine [Mobbs] Baker

A memorial service for Maxine Baker, 82, of Oklahoma City will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at Baggerly-South Funeral Chapel, 5708 S. Western in Oklahoma City.

Maxine Baker was born on February 19, 1925 to long time Chickasha residents Worthy J. Mobbs and Sallie Fannie Aldridge Mobbs. She died on September 21, 2007. She had lived in Oklahoma City since 1963. She loved music, reading and her pets.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband Gene Baker of the home in Oklahoma City; Four children: Ron and Brenda Baker of Ninnekah; Bill and Susan Baker of Chickasha; Patti Bramlett of Oklahoma City and Tammy and John Dimasi of Midwest City; three grandsons: Russell and Stephanie Baker of Chickasha; Michael and Lisa Baker of Chickasha; and Sgt. Shannon Taylor of Midwest City; three great-grandchildren: Shaylah Drake of Chickasha; Ella Baker of Chickasha; and Hayden Taylor of Midwest City; one brother: Jack and Alma Mobbs of Oklahoma City.

Interment will be held at Fort Sill National Cemetery at a later date.
