T.S. Blaylock

November 19, 1964 ~ April 13, 2019

Timothy Steven "T.S." Blaylock Sr. was born November 19, 1964 in Beaver, Oklahoma to Lela Marian (Harmon) and Stephen Tilman Blaylock. He passed away April 13, 2019 at Clinton, Oklahoma at the age of 54 years, 4 months and 25 days.
T.S. grew up moving between Oklahoma and Texas. In 1978 he moved with his family to southeast Texas where he graduated from Alvin, Texas high school in 1983. After graduation he went to Wyoming Technical School and worked as an auto mechanic before entering the United States Marine Corps where he served 7 years being stationed in Okinawa, the Gulf and then Lejeune, North Carolina. He was honorably discharged in 1992. He returned to Texas and later, Oklahoma where he attended Southwestern Oklahoma State University and received his bachelors degree in criminology in 1998. After graduation he began his career with CCA as a corrections officer and continued until July 2018. During his time with CCA he met and was married to Nicole Carey at Wheeler, Texas on June 25, 2002. Together they made their home in the Foss community and he enjoyed working above all else, but collecting cars was also one of his hobbies. He is preceded in death by his sister, Paula Michelle Fowler.
He is survived by his wife, Nicole, of the home; 3 children, Timothy Steven Blaylock, Jr., Elk City, OK, October Marie Blaylock and fiance, Billy Findley III, Foss, OK and Marti James Carey, Oregon; 6 grandchildren, Jessi, Samantha, Jorja, Jayme, Josie and one on the way in July. T.S. is also survived by his parents, Stephan and Lela Blaylock; 1 brother, Shawn Blaylock and wife, Raji Aiyer, Sugar Land, TX; brother-in-law, Darek Fowler, Kirksville, MO; 2 nieces, Kimberly Kelso and Susan Kelso and a host of other relatives and friends.
