Thomas Anthony Belfiore

August 6, 1952 ~ August 5, 2020

Thomas "Tom" Anthony Belfiore passed from this life August 5, 2020, just one day prior to his 68th birthday. He was born August 6, 1952 in Glendale, CA to Thomas John Belfiore and Virginia Catherin Belfiore (McDunn).
Tom lived his life to serve others. He was a dedicated Boy Scout and went on to earn the highest merit, Eagle Scout. Tom later entered the United States Air Force on November 15, 1971. During his time in the Air Force, Tom earned many medals and awards, including the Meritorious Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Air Force Overseas Short tour Ribbon. In addition, he attended the USAF Senior NCO Academy, as well as NCO Leadership School, earning the necessary qualifications to become an Aircraft Engineer. Tom took great pride in his work and made sure that every aircraft was in pristine mechanical condition before allowing it to operate.
Tom married the love of his life, Agnes Gernand, on January 10, 1976. During their 44 years of marriage, they were blessed with three amazing children, as well as countless wonderful memories. Tom was an avid angler and buck hunter. He also loved barbequing and smoking meat. Above all, he loved doing anything that involved spending time with those he loved.
Tom was preceded in passing by his parents, Thomas John and Virginia Catherin Belfiore; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Walter and Eva Gernand; and his very best friend of many years, Robert Lasage.
