Christopher "Stephen" Preutz Price

Stephen Price dies Saturday

Funeral Services Will be Conducted Monday Afternoon

Stephen Price, 77, who resided with his brother, F. W. Price, three miles east of Lawton on Highway 29, died at 1 a.m. Saturday, following a month's illness although he had been in ill health for a year.

Mr. Price was born in Germany, Feb. 11, 1855, came to this country with the family in 1857, residing several years near Columbus, Ind., later going to Illinois and thence to Kansas. He came here to live with his brother two years ago.

However, he had visited here several times and will be remembered by many who sympathize with the brother and nieces and nephews at his passing. He had never married.

Funeral services will be held at the Ritter Funeral Home, Monday at 3:30 p.m. with Rev. Powell A. Smith, pastor of the First Christian Church, conducting the service.

Burial will be made in Flower Mound Cemetery. The bearers selected are M. L. Pickett, O. D. G. Gelvin, G. L. Shawver, W. H. Wilson, J. W. Bilberback, and B. F. Smith.
