Edith Zisman

FLETCHER -- Funeral for Edith L. Zisman, 97, Fletcher, will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Fletcher Christion Church with Jim Hall pastor, officiating.

Mrs. Zisman died Saturday in a Cyril nursing home following a lengthy illness.

Burial will be in Fletcher Cemetery under direction of Robbins Funeral Home, Fletcher.

She was born Sept. 5, 1898, in Ninnekah and moved to Fletcher when she was two years old.

She married William Arnold Zisman May 11, 1921, in Lawton. He died Dec. 26, 1962.

She was a housewife and also worked for the Comanche County Election Board for many years. She served on the board of education for Mountain View School District. She was a member of the Fletcher Christian Church.

Survivors include Charlotte Ball, Fletcher; a son, Jerome, Fletcher; a brother, Marvin Cole, Claypool, Ariz.; two sisters; Sweeny Tibbets, Quitman, Texas; and Lorena Robinson, Fletcher; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
