Jimmie Sue [Carpenter] Williams

Funeral services for Jimmie Sue Williams, 70, Chickasha, will be 10:00 AM Thursday in the First Baptist Church, Fletcher, with Brother A.L. Swagerty, Fletcher, and Rev. Bud Jones, Pastor, First Pentecostal Holiness Church, Apache, officiating.

Mrs. Williams died Monday at her home.

Burial will be in the Fletcher Cemetery under the direction of Becker Funeral Home of Fletcher (Formerly Robbins Funeral Home).

She was born on July 17, 1937 in Chickasha to James E. and Loreva G. [Pollock] Carpenter. She graduated from Fletcher High School in 1955.

She married Bobby Love in Marietta, Oklahoma on July 28, 1955. He died in September of 1971. She married Orville Williams in Fletcher on May 31, 1997.

She worked many years as a bookkeeper. She retired as an accounting clerk from First National Bank in Chickasha in 2002. She was member of First Baptist Church of Fletcher.

Survivors include her husband of Cyril; a daughter, Jeanie Murphy of Fletcher; a son and daughter-in-law, Kent Love and Rosie of Apache; three grandchildren, Courtney Murphy of Fletcher, Lindsey Love and Micah Love, both of Apache; a great-grandson, Keegan Murphy of Fletcher; a brother and sister-in-law, Joe Carpenter and Dee Ann of Norman; an aunt, Lela Davis of Chickasha; a half brother, Stanley Carpenter of Texas; many cousins and four step-children.

Her first husband, her father, James Carpenter, her mother, Loreva Mitchell, a son, Edward Love, and a brother, Donnie Carpenter, preceded her in death.
