Nearther Mozelle Burris

December 23, 1936 - August 31, 2009

EDMOND-Graveside services for Nearther Mozella Burris, 72, Edmond, are 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the Boiling Springs Cemetery, near Lula. Rev. Jeff Frazier will officiate.

Ms. Burris died Monday, August 31, 2009 at her home. She was born December 23, 1936 at Tupelo, Oklahoma to Mose B. and Willie D. Stick Burris. She attended Tupelo schools and graduated from Tupelo High School.

Ms. Burris lived in the Oklahoma City - Edmond area for 56 years. She was a member of the Boiling Springs United Methodist Church.

Survivors include one son, Ronnie Burris and wife Lynn, Lindale, TX; a daughter, Kay Johnston, Wilburton; six grandchildren, Lamanda, Mose Bradley, Autumn, Brian, Kim and Camren; four great grandchildren, Breeanna, Brookline, Tyler and Taylor; and brothers and sisters, Winnie Fox, Sebena Burris, Gabriel Burris, Lonie Burris, David Burris, Hoylt Burris, Neal Burris and Mary Cochrin.
