Jenny Ann “Anna Jane” (Fendrych) Gibson, 90, of Blanchard, died May 20, 2012 in Midwest City. The daughter of John Frank and Josephine (Janko) Fendrych, she was born April 2, 1922 in Moore, Oklahoma.

She was a hairdresser and had the first beauty shop in Newcastle. Anna Jane was a founding member of the Snow Hill Baptist Church in Newcastle. She was a member of the DAV Auxiliary in Midwest City and American Legion Post 12 in Oklahoma City. She loved gardening, bird watching, yard work, and was an excellent cook.

Anna Jane is preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Jacqueline; daughter, Mary Lynn Weese; granddaughter, Deanna Lynn Smith; husbands, Oliver Wayne Allen, George Melvin Gibson, and George Cain, Jr.; one sister, Josie Miller; and three brothers, Johnny, Jimmy, and Charlie Fendrych.

She is survived by two sons, Tom Cain and wife Lynda of Prague and Gene Gibson and wife Debbie of Idaho; four daughters, Patricia Chapman and husband Bill of Moore, Connie Dunn and husband J.T. of Blanchard, Erma Antrim and husband Jim of Tuttle, and Barbara Brown of Colorado; sons-in-law, Larry Weese of Moore and Bob Brown of Colorado; 23 grandchildren; 45 great grandchildren; 19 great- great grandchildren; brother, Billy Fendrych and wife Margaret of Moore; and numerous other loved ones and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard. Interment will be held in the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery in Norman.
