Cordia Mae Butts, 91, of Norman, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016.  She was born October 2, 1924 in Norman, Oklahoma to Ralph Eugene Dougherty and Betty Pearl (Hughes) Dougherty.
 
She grew up in Norman, Oklahoma and graduated from Norman High school.  Cordia married Earl Witt Butts, Jr. on August 25, 1943.  She enjoyed roller skating, dancing and traveling.  She was an avid football fan and especially liked watching her favorite team’s play- including the OU Sooners and the Dallas Cowboys.  Most of all she loved spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
 
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son Earl Eugene Butts, and sisters Montez Dougherty and Nevada Williams.
 
Cordia is survived by her son Richard Butts and wife Janet, and their children Zach and Madison, daughter-in-law Judith Butts and children, Stephen Butts and wife Kelly, and their children Chris and Kaylea, and Michael and wife Stacy and their children Matt, Hailee and Bryce.
 
Graveside Services will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 24, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 2301 Indian Hills Rd. Norman, OK 73071.

Arrangements for Cordia Mae Butts and her family were placed in the care of Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
