Zachary Tod Luttrell age 58 of Norman, formerly of the Purcell-Wayne area, passed away Friday, August 04, 2017 after a three year battle with cancer.

Tod was born December 2, 1958 in Purcell. He was the oldest child of two children born to Elved Junior Luttrell and Linda Kay (Tompkins). Tod grew up on a farm near Wayne, OK where he learned how to work hard as a young boy. He graduated from Wayne High School in 1977, and while in high school he was a member of the FFA. After graduating he continued living and working on the family farm, helping his father raise cattle, growing wheat and alfalfa. Tod married the love of his life, Margaret Dumas on March 15, 1985 in Payne, OK. Together they raised seven children, Tara, Zachary, Brenda, Lacy, Ashley Erica and Jeremiah. Tod and Margaret lived in Wayne, later Purcell and then in 2000 moved to Norman. He worked most all of his life as a Rancher and Farmer. In 1991 he started his own Landscaping business called Luttrell Lawn Care and for the past 23 years he operated both jobs. Tod loved being outdoors and working with his hands. He loved to farm, raise cattle, he was a fabulous landscaper and horticulturist. He was a wonderful husband and father and he loved spoiling his grandchildren. While living in Norman, Tod was a faithful member of St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. He loved to golf, raise salt water aquarium fish, but most of all he loved spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by: Dad, Elved Luttrell; Sister, Brenda Renee Luttrell; Niece, Amber Michelle Luttrell;

He is survived by: Wife, Margaret Luttrell of Norman, Seven children, Tara McGowan and husband Lee of Washington, OK. Zachary Luttrell and wife Samantha of Norman, Brenda Alfonso and husband Aaron of Norman, Lacy Luttrell of Norman, Ashley Luttrell of Norman, Erica Lively and husband Brian of Norman, Jeremiah Luttrell of Norman, 14 grandchildren, His mother, Kay Nelson of Wynnewood; And a host of other relatives and friends.

A Rosary Service will be held at 6:30pm, Sunday, August 6, 2017 at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church in Norman, OK. The Funeral Mass service will be 10:00 am, Monday, August 7, 2017 at St. Mark.

Interment will be at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Norman. Arrangements are by Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell.
