William C. "Bill" Bunyard , 80, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011 in Norman.

A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Bill was born July 19, 1930 in Oklahoma City to William and Katharine (Murphy) Bunyard , Sr.

He was united in marriage to Ellen O'Brien on September 5, 1956. Bill was an insurance adjuster for Oklahoma Farm Bureau Insurance for 31 years until his retirement in 1989. Bill was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was also a member of National American Insurance.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Ellen of the home; two sons, Michael Bunyard of Noble, OK and Patrick Bunyard and his wife Nora of Evergreen, Colo.; one daughter, Joni Bunyard of Norman; and three grandchildren, Kerry Bowden of Norman, Blair Bunyard and Matthew Bunyard of Evergreen, Colo.
