Dakota Wilson, 14, passed away November 25, 2014 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born June 25, 2000 in Oklahoma City to Lisa Ortiz and Aaron Wilson.

Dakota was always entertaining the people around him. He loved to dance and was passionate about his Marvel Comics and enjoyed adding to his collection. Dakota attended Mustang North Middle School where he was a member of the wrestling team. Dakota had the biggest heart and stood up for what was right. He had a soft spot for animals and would go out of his way to save any animal that was in need. He idealized his older brother Jordan.

Dakota was preceded in death by his grandparents Arley Ray Graham, Austin & Marie Rhoten and Elizabeth Kay Wilson.

Dakota leaves behind to cherish his memory: mother and father Lisa and Max Ortiz; brothers, Jordan Umphreys, Jesse Wilson, Jackson Wilson; sister, Laura Ortiz; grandparents; Wanda Bunney, Maximo Ortiz Sr., Maria Ortiz, Jim Wilson, Linda Wilson and a host of cousins, aunts and uncles.

Visitation will be held noon-8:00 pm Monday, December 1, 2014 and 8:00am-8:00pm Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Resthaven Funeral Home.

Funeral ceremony will be held 10:00am December 3, 2014 at Southern Hills Baptist Church with interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
