Stephen Douglas Healy of Cresent, OK passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at the age of 73. Steve, as he went by, was born on February 25, 1945 in Oklahoma City, OK to Benjamin Franklin Healy and Jewel Darcy (Heffington) Healy. On November 28, 1985 he married loving wife, Carolyn Faye (Tedford) Adams.

During his life, Steve graduated from Capitol Hill High School, Oklahoma City, OK, served with the U.S. Navy, in Vietnam, from 1965-1966. Steve worked for Southwest Electric before retiring from Tinker Air Force Base with the Civil Service. Steve and his wife both volunteered on the Twin Lakes Fire Department.

Steve was a well-respected man, a friend to all, and dearly loved by his family. Steve and Carolyn lived in the Twin Lakes Community in Crescent, OK where they both enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, riding three-wheelers on the river, playing with their children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Steve was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Clayton Healy; sisters Lucille Deal, Wilma Vogle and Bobbie Shepard; daughter Jamie Jo Langhan-Healy; daughter-in-law Jaymie Adams and great-grandchild baby Adams.

Steve leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife Carolyn of 32 years; sons Benjamin Healy, Mark Hawkins, and Thomas "Pete" Adams and wife Kelli; 10 grandchildren; and a wealth of great-grandchildren who will miss him dearly. The community of Twin Lakes will also miss him, as he was loved greatly by all there.
