Woodrow W. "Woody" Folsom

Woodrow W. "Woody" Folsom, age 84, passed away Monday, May 5, 1997.

Mr. Folsom was born February 6, 1913 in Garland, Oklahoma and married Nowassa Virden Folsom on July 25, 1933 in Vinita, Oklahoma.

Woody was a barber for 40 years and also retired from Tinker Air Force Base. The Folsoms have lived in Moore for the last 36 years.

Mr. Folsom is survived by his wife, Nowassa, of the home; six children, June Marino, of McAlester, Oklahoma, Kay Smith of Dallas, Texas, Sue Henry of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Ron Folsom of Chicago, Illinois, Pat Cox of Norman, Oklahoma, and Carol Thompson of Moore, Oklahoma, as well as 21 grandchildren and 30 great -grandchildren.

Woody was loved and will be missed.

Funeral services will be 1 PM Wednesday, May 7, 1997 at Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with interment following at Resthaven Cemetery.
