Alice Siekierski Jewell, age 49, of Norman died February 7, 2013 at OU Medical Center.  Alice was born on November 2, 1963 in Norman, OK to John Phillip and Betty Jane Jewell. 

She is survived by her mother Betty Jane Jewell of Norman; one son, John Sam Siekierski and her daughter-in-law Elizabeth; John’s father John Phillip Siekierski, three brothers, Eddie Jewell and wife Peggy, John Lee Jewell and wife Erin, Jerry Earl Jewell and Jennifer; one sister, Jane Clark and husband Russell, numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and her very special friend Billy Alexander. 

She is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Jean Jewell and her father John Phillip Jewell. 

Alice grew up in Norman, graduating from Norman High School in 1981.  On February 29, 1984 she married John Phillip Siekierski.  Alice worked for many years as an IT technician.  She loved to cook, garden and make crafts.  She was always growing flowers and she loved to share them with her family and friends.  Alice was a golden ray of sunshine to those who knew and loved her.  She had a heart of gold and was always there with a hug and a warm smile when needed.  She was an exceptional and loving mother, wife and friend and she will be missed by all. 

Graveside services will be 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the I.O.O.F Cemetery located at 1913 N. Porter, Norman, Oklahoma.  Arrangements for Alice and her family have been placed in the care of the Vice Family at the Havenbrook Funeral Home of Norman.
