Cope, Nancy Alice (Shepherd), 68, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011 in Norman, Oklahoma.  She was born to Lee Fines and Ruby (Gilleland) Shepherd on October 29, 1942 in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Nancy was raised in Noble, Oklahoma and attended Noble High School graduating in 1961.  She was employed at Goddard Health Center for 10 years before retiring in 1990.  Nancy will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Nancy is survived by one son, Nathaniel Jay Fox of Reno, Nevada; one daughter, Suzanna Alice Jobe and her husband, James of Moore, Oklahoma; three brothers, Bob Shepherd and his wife, MaryAnn Sall of Portland, Oregon; Jerry Shepherd and his wife, Nancy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Frank Shepherd and his wife, Donna of Pauls Valley, Oklahoma; one sister, Wanda Blunck and her husband, Theron of Norman, Oklahoma; one sister-in-law, Norma Shepherd of Norman, Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Holly Fox, Tyler Fox, Alexis Jobe, Joseph Jobe, Zipporah Jobe, and Levi Jobe; and her best friends, Joey Roberts and Bobby Warren.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Dan Shepherd.

Visitation will be held 3:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M., Thursday, March 24, 2011 at  Havenbrook Funeral Home, Norman.  Funeral services will begin 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 25, 2011at Highland Baptist Church, 2425 SE 4th and Sunnylane, Moore, Oklahoma with burial following at I.O.O.F. in Norman under the direction of The Havenbrook Funeral Home. 

Memorial donations may be made in memory of Nancy Alice Shepherd Cope to the charity of the donor's choice.
