Allie Viola Rollins age 82 of Noble passed away Sunday, March 10, 2013 at Norman Regional Hospital after an extended illness. She was born on September 19, 1930 at home east of Noble. She was the oldest child of three children born to Nolan Orville Williamson and Ina Lee (Geno) Williamson. Allie grew up in Noble and attended Noble schools graduating in 1949. She later met a young man who grew up in the Ladd community by the name Roy Lee Rollins. They were married on March 25, 1949 and together raised nine children. Allie lived in the Noble community for most of her life. She worked tirelessly as a homemaker, wife and mother as well as working outside of the home. In her early years she worked for Cassidy and Geraldine Wright in Norman. Then for 23 years she worked as a housekeeper for the University of Oklahoma, retiring in 1990 as supervisor. After retiring she enjoyed staying at home to help take care of a grandson and other extended family members. Allie loved having family get-togethers and spending time watching her favorite sports teams. She was an avid O.U. football and men and women’s basketball fan. She also was a Texas Ranger fan and lately an OKC Thunder fan.
She was preceded in death by: Parents: Nolan and Ina Williamson Husband: Roy Lee Rollins on March 13, 2001 Brother: Andy Williamson
She is survived by: Nine children: Patsy Cline and husband Wayne of Prague, Linda Christy and husband Don of Noble, Rita Cline and husband R.A. of Noble, Norma Christian and husband David of Purcell, Ima Williams and husband Bill of Noble, Rick Rollins and wife Tammy of Lawton, Ron Rollins and wife Sheila of Norman, Nola Moore and husband Kenny of OKC, Bob Rollins and wife Debbie of Norman, Sister: June Sutterfield and husband Chuck of Stratford, TX, Sister-in-law: Gwen Williamson of Noble, 20 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren Numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other loving relatives and friends
Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Wednesday March 13, 2013 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. Interment will be at the Noble I.O.O.F. Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandsons; Charlie Cline, Troy Christian, Shane Rollins, Josh Rollins, Thomas Rollins and Donnie Fountain. Honorary bearers will be Justin Goodnight, Tom Paras, Jordan Dale, Shane Hunter, Joseph Rendon and Paul Blood.
