WILSON-LITTLE FUNERAL HOME
PURCELL-NEWCASTLE, MCCLAIN CO, OK
(permission granted)

Letha “EC” Margaret Blevins, a long-time resident of Mustang, Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully on Thursday, January 14 in Yukon, Oklahoma.

EC was born March 28, 1938 in Monticello, KY, to Frank and Mary Blevins, the third of their four children. She graduated from New Castle High School in 1958. After residing in the New Castle area for some time, she worked at Western Electric in Indianapolis until she moved to Mustang, Okla. in 1984. She worked dedicatedly at AT&T/Lucent Technologies until her much-deserved retirement in 2009. EC loved learning about the great outdoors and wilderness survival techniques, was crazy about Elvis and Kenny Chesney, loved to find a good bargain shopping at her favorite thrift stores, and made sure she had the best looking yard on the block. One of the greatest joys in her life was spending time with family, especially her great-great nieces, Alexis Letha and Peyten Marvel, who she spoiled with abandon.

EC was preceded in death by her sister, Nita Blevins, mother and father, Mary and Frank Blevins, all of New Castle, Ind., brother, Frank “Bub” Blevins of Mount Summit, Ind., and niece Mary Letha Leonard of Wayne, Okla.

She is survived by numerous family members who are going to miss her dearly: brother, Roy Keith Blevins and wife, Judy; aunt, Grace Carr; niece Robyn Goodwin and husband, Bob; nephew Roy Brett Blevins; nephew Tony Keith Blevins; niece Julie McGaughey and husband, Shane; and nephew Jeffery Blevins, and wife, Deana. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, who brought so much joy to her heart: Jessica Infield, and husband, Mike; Joshua Blevins; Ashley Brand and husband, Richard; Alicia Logsdon and husband, Tucker; Zach Blevins; Shelby Barnes and husband, Ryan; Michael, Maggie, and Victoria Blevins; and Caroline and Levi Blevins. In addition, she also has several great-great nieces and nephews: Gage Davis; Mason Blevins; Hanna and Jake Logsdon; and Hope, Josie, and Logan Barnes.

Visitation will be held from 1:00-5:00 pm on Sunday, January 17 at Wilson Little Funeral Home in Purcell, OK and official services will be held at the same location at 9:00 am on Monday, January 18, with burial immediately following at the Noble IOOF Cemetery.
