Christopher "Chris" Steven Von Werder died June 3, 2017 in Norman, Oklahoma at the age of 44 years 6 months 25 days.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Saturday, June 10, 2017 at Wadley’s Funeral Chapel in Purcell. Interment will follow at the Moore City Cemetery in Moore, Oklahoma entrusted to the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.

Chris was born November 9, 1972 in Springfield, Illinois to Steven McLean and Kathryn Berndt. He was raised in Illinois and Lawton, graduating from school in Lawton around 1989. Chris then enlisted in the United States Army, where he served during the Gulf war and was honorably discharged. Chris enjoyed working and was a Sales Rep for Pepsi for many years. He loved hanging out with his family and friends, and giving them a hard time. He put others needs ahead of his own, helping when and where he could.

Chris is preceded in death by his father and his 1st wife, Lisa Collins.

Survivors include his mother, Kathryn VonWerder; spouse, Crystal Rudebusch; sons, Brian Rakotz, Brandon Von Werder, Keegan Von Werder; daughters, Anjelica Stoker, Kassidy Von Werder; stepchildren, Lauren Rudebusch, Tiffani Rudebusch; grandchildren, Landon Carrillo and Bentley Rudebusch; sister, Tonya Von Werder; brother, Matthew McLean and many other relatives and friends.
