Kenneth Hershel "Kenny" Bettis

Kenneth Hershel Bettis, 51, of Chickasha, OK passed away peacefully and unexpectedly at his home on July 5, 2014. 
 
Kenny was born February 18, 1963 in Norman, OK to Hershel and Hazel Bettis. He was raised in the Chickasha area and lived there most of his life, but had also lived in Alex, OK. 
 
He was a cattle and gas hauler for many years. Kenny is survived by his only child, Kenneth Bettis; mom, Hazel Boyd; sister, Kathy Venable and husband Randy; and brother, Dennis Bettis and wife Tonsi; nephews, Brad and Chad Bettis, Kevin and Dusty Venable; his sons, mother, Merry Bettis. 
 
A memorial service will be held 10:30 AM, Saturday, July 12, 2014 at the chapel of John M. Ireland Funeral Home, Moore, OK. Condolences may be left online at www.johnirelandfuneralhome.com.
