Candy Wenthold age 72, of Lexington, Oklahoma passed away at her home on Tuesday, August 16, 2016. She was born on September 2, 1943 in Oklahoma City. Candy was an only child born to Emerson Chili McIntosh and Hazel Lee Haney. Candy grew up the Oklahoma City area and graduated from Putnam City High School with the class of 1961. One year later she married her high school sweetheart, Ralph Wenthold. They were married on May 19, 1962 and made their home in OKC. They remained living in OKC for their first 12 years. Then in 1974 they moved to Ralph’s family farm, east of Lexington. Candy and Ralph together raised three children, Brad, Craig and Jennifer. She worked as a house wife and mother while her children were younger. Then when her children started school she went to work as a bookkeeper in the Automobile business. Candy began working in 1978 for Al Sayler Olds-Cadillac-Nissan dealership in Norman. She later worked for Cliff Murdock Chevrolet and Powers Chevrolet in Purcell. Throughout her life, Candy enjoyed reading, playing cards with her friends and taking care of her animals. She loved her Cockatoo’s, her bull dog named Boomer and her cats. In her later years she enjoyed babysitting grandkids.

She was preceded in death by: Parents, Emerson Chili McIntosh and Hazel Lee Haney Husband, Ralph Wenthold, Son, Brad Wenthold.

She is survived by|: Son, Craig Wenthold and wife Kristine of Lexington, Daughter, Jennifer Bramlett and husband Tom of Lexington, Sister-in-law, Nadine Johnson of San Diego, Ca. Four grandchildren, Amanda Bryant and husband Jason of Lexington, Kimberly Wenthold, Kelli Wenthold and Alexis Wenthold all of Lexington, One great granddaughter, Autumn Bryant. Also a close friend, Barbara Kelley of Lexington.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel in Purcell. Interment will be at the Lexington Cemetery. Send online condolences @wilsonlittle.com
