Patsy Ruth Watkins, age 90 of Lexington, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, March 06, 2016 at her home. She was born April 26, 1925 in Paoli, Oklahoma. She was the 5th child of eight children born to William Lee Williams and Anna (Dillingham) Williams. Patsy grew up in Paoli and graduated from Paoli high school in 1943. After high school she married Richard Arlen “Dick” Watkins. They made their home in Purcell where together they raised two children, Larry and Lee Ann. Patsy worked as a homemaker and outside the home as an Insurance Clerk. She worked 16 years for McClain County Farm Bureau and 16 years for Courtesy Insurance Agency at McClain Bank. Patsy was actively involved in her community and her church. After her children were grown, she moved to Lexington and became an active member of the Lexington First Baptist Church for over 60 years. She was a past member of the Indian Territory Roundup Club where she served as secretary for 15 years. She was a past member of the Fairview Community Home Extension Club, also the Huggs Group and the Christian Singles Group. She was a wonderful cook and she loved spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by: Husband, Dick Watkins on Jan. 29, 1977; Daughter, Lee Ann Watkins in 2014; Infant daughter, Linda Watkins; Daughter-in-law, Donna (Worden) Watkins on July 4, 1989; 7 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by: One son, Larry Watkins and wife Natalea of Purcell, Two grandchildren, Jennifer Roysdon and husband Jason of Guthrie, Rick Watkins and wife Erica of Sapulpa; Three great grandchildren, Hope Watkins, Haileigh and Hunter Smith; Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many other loving relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the Wilson-Little Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be at the Lexington Cemetery.
