Memorial services for Marbie Marie Long will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at the Bill Darrough Pavilon with Rev. Tim Harless officiating, and burial following in the Mt. Olive Cemetery.

Marie passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013, in Katy, Texas, at the age of 75. Marbie Marie Long was born January 23, 1937, in Hugo, Oklahoma, the daughter of Howard C. and Pearl Marie (Butler) Crye. She was raised in Hugo before moving to Katy, TX. Marie served as an ambassador and traveled overseas in seventeen countries while working for DOS in Washington DC. She enjoyed retailing, photography, personnel, publishing. She loved painting and tennis. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Marie is survived by her brother, Tommy Butler of Hugo, OK; special friends, Tom Walne and wife Jackie of Fulshear, Tx.
